1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
Nexavyn (ABN: 21 696 400 476) is a sole trader business based in Australia that builds and operates digital products, including the GameTab mobile application. This Privacy Policy applies to data handled by Nexavyn at a company level — across our website, communications, and business operations. It does not override product-specific policies; where both apply, both should be read together. If a product-specific privacy policy gives more detailed information about that product, the product-specific policy applies to that product.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where a product-specific policy commits to a shorter response time, that shorter time applies to requests about that product — the GameTab Privacy Policy commits to 15 days.
2. Information We Collect
At the company level, Nexavyn may collect:
- Contact information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you contact us or submit a business inquiry.
- Messages and communications sent through our support or feedback channels.
- Technical and diagnostic information necessary to operate and maintain our websites and services reliably and securely.
- Crash reports, error diagnostics, performance and session-stability data collected via Sentry (sentry.io) for our apps, which may include device model, OS version, app version, stack traces, navigation breadcrumbs, and an anonymised user identifier. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix issues — not for advertising or profiling. A product may define a narrow exception where a full account identifier is sent so a specific fault can be repaired; the GameTab Privacy Policy describes the one such case in GameTab, for failed subscription purchases.
- Standard technical information your browser sends when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser type, which is handled by our hosting provider to serve the page. Our website does not currently set cookies or run analytics or advertising scripts — see Section 5 (Cookies and Third-Party Services) for what it does load.
Product-level data collected through our apps (such as GameTab user accounts, private profile attributes and group data) is described in the relevant product privacy policy, not here. For example, GameTab stores an optional Male, Female, or Prefer not to say selection that personalises the user's own Home artwork and is visible to the admin teams of the groups they belong to; the GameTab policy explains that collection, its visibility, purpose, retention, and deletion.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve Nexavyn websites and products.
- To respond to support requests, feedback, and business inquiries.
- To maintain security, detect and prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To diagnose technical issues using crash and error reporting tools.
- To understand general usage patterns and improve the reliability of our services.
We do not use company-level data for third-party advertising tracking, behavioural profiling, or targeted advertising, and we do not provide company-level data to data brokers.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share data in the following situations:
- Service providers — trusted infrastructure and service providers that help us run our systems (such as hosting, crash reporting and performance monitoring, email delivery, push notifications, app distribution, subscription management, maps/geocoding, and product infrastructure), each operating under their own data processing terms. We do not use advertising or behavioural analytics providers.
- Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or Nexavyn.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Cookies and Third-Party Services
Cookies and analytics. Our website does not currently set cookies, and does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of any kind. If that changes we will update this policy first. You can control cookies generally through your browser settings.
Google Fonts. Our website pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font discloses your IP address and browser details to Google, whose handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. This is the only third party our website contacts.
Product providers. Our products use providers such as Supabase, Sentry, Resend, Expo, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, OpenStreetMap, and the app stores. These providers are governed by their own privacy terms. Product-specific privacy policies give the detailed provider list and describe exactly what data is shared with each — see the GameTab Privacy Policy for GameTab.
6. Where Your Data Is Processed
Nexavyn is based in Australia and our product data is stored in Australia. Some service providers process limited data outside Australia, primarily in the United States — for example crash diagnostics, push notification routing, transactional email delivery, and subscription management. Google Fonts is served from Google's global infrastructure.
We share only the information each provider needs to perform its function. The product-specific privacy policies list, provider by provider, what leaves Australia and why.
7. Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. Support and inquiry records are retained for as long as needed to provide assistance and for legal and compliance purposes. Crash and diagnostic data is retained for the period needed to resolve and prevent issues.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect data, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you, and to make a complaint about how we handle your information.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
10. Children's Privacy
Nexavyn services require users to be at least 16 years old, as set out in our Terms of Service. Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it. Product-specific policies may add detail — see the GameTab Privacy Policy for how this applies in GameTab, including guest players added by a group admin.
11. Product-Specific Policies
Some Nexavyn products have additional privacy terms that apply alongside this policy. For GameTab details, see:
GameTab account deletion is available in the app, and users who cannot access the app can request deletion by email using the standalone GameTab account deletion page.
12. Terms of Service
Use of Nexavyn websites and services is also governed by our Terms of Service.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or data practices. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
14. Contact
Privacy questions, data requests, and rights exercises can be sent to [email protected].
Typical response time: 1–2 business days. Rights requests will be addressed within 30 days (or the period required by applicable law).
